The POSH RGUKT App is intended to provide a safe, confidential, and secure platform for female students to report issues related to harassment, misconduct, or any safety concerns on campus. Complaints submitted through the app are forwarded directly to the university’s authorized POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee or other responsible officials.

We collect the following types of data when you submit a complaint:

Name
College Email ID (required for authentication)

b. Complaint Details

Description of the incident
Location (text or via GPS if permission is granted)
Image(s) (evidence or relevant images)
Video(s) (optional media evidence)
Voice Message(s) (optional audio explanation)

Note: While your email and name help authenticate submissions, your identity will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed outside the authorized university personnel.

3. How We Use Your Information

To forward your complaint to the appropriate RGUKT authorities.
To take appropriate action based on the nature of the complaint.
To maintain a secure and traceable record of complaints for investigation and resolution.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or third-party services.

4. Data Security

All complaints are encrypted during transmission.
Only authorized university officials can access complaint data.
Media files and messages are stored securely and handled with discretion.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal or complaint information with any third-party individuals, organizations, or services outside of RGUKT. Only the university’s POSH committee or other officially designated staff will access your data, and only for resolving the issue reported.

6. Your Rights

You may request the deletion of your complaint by contacting the support email.
You may also request to update or correct your details (if applicable).
We do not process or use your data for profiling, analytics, or marketing.

We may update this policy as necessary to reflect changes in our practices or regulations. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Significant updates will be notified within the app.
